Jönköpings Södra IF submitted an appeal to the Swedish Football Association after Utsikten performed an unfair play and a sixth substitution during the match. - We're not saying they wouldn't have won the match without these substitutions. But the conditions of the match changed, as they got six substitutions and we got five. We play according to the competition rules, and therefore we think this must be reviewed, said Oscar Carlsson, J-Södra's club manager to Fotbollskanalen. On Thursday, the competition committee announced that they had rejected the appeal. The competition committee attaches importance to the fact that the player in question only stayed on the pitch for a very short time before the match ended. Furthermore, it is noted in the match report that there is no recorded incident where the player had a direct impact on the match, such as a goal, assist, or other, that affected the sporting conditions between the teams in a significant way. J-Södra can appeal the decision until April 30.
